ENS Precision Hardware Purchasing and Flow Down Requirements

Valued Supplier: You are important to us and contribute to our ability to conform to our customer requirements. In order to achieve this success, we are flowing down the following requirements. Please note that many of these are qualified based on their applicability to your goods and/or services.
1. Our PO numbers must be referenced on all internal documents.
2. If you are an approved supplier based on ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or NADCAP, it is your responsibility to provide new certificates when the current certificate expires. You are also required to notify us if your certificate lapses or is revoked within seven (7) days of such action.
3. In addition, pursuant to AS9120 supplier flowdown requirements, our purchase orders are subject to the following conditions of purchase:
a. You must comply with all communicated processes, products and services to be provided including the identification of relevant technical data (e.g., specifications, drawings, process requirements, work instructions) on our PO.
b. Requirements for approval of product, procedures, processes and equipment include items such as quantity, part, drawing, process description, delivery due date, and/or specifications.
c. Requirements for qualification of personnel as listed.
d. Interactions with ENS must be documented- the preferred method is electronic email with attachments.
e. ENS requires 98% of your parts are acceptable and on-time.
f. ENS and/or our customers reserve the right to inspect our products at your premises.
g. You must supply us with a certificate of conformance as evidence of test, inspection, and/or verification.
h. If you use sampling for g. above, ENS requires industry-accepted sampling plans (we can share our sampling plan upon request).
i. ENS requires suppliers who have or will:
• Implemented a quality management system (at a minimum ISO 9001).
• Use customer-designated or approved external providers, including process sources (e.g., special processes).
• Notify ENS of nonconforming processes, products, or services and obtain approval for their disposition.
•Prevent the use of suspected unapproved, unapproved, and counterfeit parts
• Notify ENS changes to processes, products, or services, including changes of their external providers or location of manufacture, and obtain the organization’s approval.
• Flow down to the supply chain the applicable requirements including customer. requirements- these include specific customer and applicable federal requirements and are noted on the PO and/or on an attached drawing and/or specific supplemental attachment.
• Provide a certificate of conformity, test reports, or authorized release certificate, as applicable.
• Records retention requirements- unless otherwise noted on the PO, the minimum retention period is for ten years after completion of the PO requirements.

j. Right of access by ENS, our customer, and regulatory authorities to the applicable areas of all facilities, at any level of the supply chain (including your suppliers), involved in the order and to all applicable records- this is applicable to all POs.
k. Ensuring that your employees are aware of:
• Their contribution to product or service conformity;
• Their contribution to product safety;
•The importance of ethical behavior.
